Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marlon Jones Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Olek Skilgannon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Skilgannon has chosen La Ultima Hora - Breed 77 as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are William Gold, Colin Fotheringham and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skilgannon misses with a shot to the body
and Skilgannon takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
No joy there for Jones Jr, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Skilgannon misses with an uppercut. Jones Jr saw that one coming.
Skilgannon lands with a hook. Jones Jr tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
The fighters circle momentarily. Skilgannon darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Jones Jr misses with a body shot.
Skilgannon tries to land a front kick but Jones Jr steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Jones Jr paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Skilgannon ducks right into an uppercut from Jones Jr.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jones Jr throws a looping overhand right but Skilgannon ducks down to avoid it.

Skilgannon closes the distance and pushes Jones Jr back into the cage.

Skilgannon gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Jones Jr regains guard.

Jones Jr thuds his right hand into Skilgannon's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Skilgannon misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Jones Jr moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Skilgannon throws a leg kick but Jones Jr moved away.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Skilgannon enables Jones Jr to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Skilgannon manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
