Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between India Ale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Harper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, India Ale!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Daniel Harper!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harper blocks a jab.
Ale moves in looking to clinch but Harper pushes him off.
Ale fails in his attempt to clinch.
Ale tries to close the distance and clinch up but Harper swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Some wild striking there from Ale.
Harper ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
A nice combination there by Ale.
Harper bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Harper slips a jab and a cross from Ale.
Harper comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Harper scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Nice combo by Ale! Oh, that's hurt him - Harper falls to the canvas and Ale follows him into side control.


Harper is rocked!


It looks like Daniel Harper has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ale working the ground and pound but Harper is defending the strikes.
Harper is still in real trouble! Can Ale finish him?
Harper is trying to escape the position but Ale is controlling the position.
An elbow from Ale crashes against the mat.
Harper seems to have recovered his senses.
Harper is looking to reverse the position.
Ale throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Harper sneaks back into half guard.
Harper wants to get back to full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ale throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Harper gets full guard.
Ale working some strikes from top position.
Ale preventing the sweep.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Harper is trying to control the position but Ale postures up.
Ale sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Harper tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Harper keeping moving, preventing Ale from controlling successfully.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Ale has Harper up against the cage in a clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Harper looking to slow down the pace here.
Ale tries a knee to the head but Harper blocks it.
A head punch on the inside from Ale fails to land.
Harper blocks an elbow strike.
Harper lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Ale or not.
Ale is breathing heavily.

Ale breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ale drops his hands momentarily and Harper takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Ale takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Harper lands with a right hand.
Harper thuds a left hand into Ale's body.
Harper scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!


It looks like India Ale has been cut.
Harper throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Ale on the side of the head.
Harper lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Harper scores with a three punch combo!


Ale is rocked!
Harper lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Ale at a distance.
Harper lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Ale can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Harper and Ale drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Harper.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Daniel Harper!
