Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Miguel Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Untalented Bean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Miguel Sanchez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Untalented Bean!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Daniel Blasius and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bean shoots in but no luck this time.

Sanchez shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bean's guard.

Sanchez will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Bean is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Bean has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Titan Gym. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Bean wants to get back to his feet but Sanchez is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sanchez would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Sanchez is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Bean misses with a combination
and Sanchez counters with a three punch combo that has Bean backing up. Bean nods at Sanchez to acknowledge the strikes.

Bean doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Sanchez counters with a left to the body.

Sanchez closes the distance and clinches.
Bean wants to break free but Sanchez has control.

Sanchez breaks the clinch.
Bean shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Sanchez defends it nicely.
Miguel Sanchez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Untalented Bean.
Bean throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sanchez's waist but Sanchez gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bean off to one side.

Bean throws a head kick but Sanchez moves out of range.

Sanchez scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

Sanchez clinches with his opponent.
Bean tries to stall but Sanchez uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sanchez lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Bean tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Sanchez just stands there and leans against the cage.
Sanchez avoids a wild elbow strike from Bean.

Sanchez's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Bean wants to clinch up but Sanchez keeps it at a distance.
Bean tries for a takedown but Sanchez sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Untalented Bean seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Sanchez feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Sanchez wants to pass the guard but Bean is keeping the position.
Sanchez is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Sanchez really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Bean is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Sanchez fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bean, pushing him back against the cage.
Bean jumps guard but Sanchez stands there with Bean around his waist. Bean gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Sanchez comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Sanchez lands a nice elbow.
Sanchez connects with a knee to the head.
Sanchez gets underhooks to prevent Bean's takedown attempt.
Bean is trying to break the clinch but Sanchez is controlling him.

Sanchez breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Bean pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bean fails with the takedown.
Sanchez fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bean moves to clinch but Sanchez breaks away
and Sanchez counters with a three punch combo that has Bean backing up. Bean nods at Sanchez to acknowledge the strikes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Horrible takedown by Bean or perhaps it was just good defense by Sanchez which made him look bad.

Sanchez closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Sanchez in particular looking to stall.

Sanchez is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Sanchez seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Bean is trying to stand back up but Sanchez is controlling him
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sanchez thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Bean's head.

Sanchez has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Bean manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Sanchez manages to get himself to full guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Miguel Sanchez will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
