Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Quinton Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lee Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson comes to the cage accompanied by Strong Arm Steady. Wilson is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Innersection. Lee Wilson will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Quinton Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lee Wilson!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Jackson walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Lee Wilson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wilson throws a right and a left that Jackson avoids nicely.
Jackson throws a big shot that misses.
Wilson throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Jackson shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Wilson has one foot on Jackson's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Jackson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That was a close round but I would say that Quinton Jackson will probably get the nod.

Wilson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Jackson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Jackson is keen to just control but Wilson is a slippery customer.

Jackson slips a nice elbow through Wilson's hands, connecting with Wilson's forehead.

Jackson is nestled in close to Wilson, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Jackson is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Wilson still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Wilson has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

Wilson is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Jackson is defending well for now.
