Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Donald Wagner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trey Oshiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Donald Wagner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Trey Oshiro! The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Sandra Marshall and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Oshiro shoots in looking for a takedown. Wagner tries to sprawl out of it but Oshiro keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wagner manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Wagner has a takedown stuffed. Wagner misses with a two punch combination.
Oshiro misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Oshiro is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Oshiro tries to clinch there but Wagner circles away.
Oshiro shoots in for a takedown but Wagner shows good takedown defense. The fight moves into the clinch position. Wagner tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Oshiro lands with a light punch inside. Wagner jumps guard but Oshiro turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Donald Wagner. That's going to take a lot out of him. Oshiro breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Wagner tries to keep at a distance but Oshiro has taken the fight into the clinch. Oshiro has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Wagner avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. A short right hand to the side of the head by Oshiro. Wagner fails to pull guard.
Wagner is trying to pull guard but Oshiro has him pressed against the cage. Oshiro lands a hook that snaps the head of Wagner backwards. Oshiro scores with a hook to the body. Oshiro lands a nice shot to the body. Wagner's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Oshiro leaning against his opponent.
Oshiro breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Oshiro instigates a clinch. Oshiro lands a hook to the side of the head. Oshiro jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Wagner walks away with a smile on his face. Oshiro gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Oshiro clinches up against the cage. Oshiro manages to break the clinch.
Horrible takedown by Oshiro or perhaps it was just good defense by Wagner which made him look bad. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Oshiro doesn't manage to clinch there - Wagner circles away.
Oshiro has taken the fight to the clinch.
Oshiro works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Wagner tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Oshiro smiles and moves away.
Oshiro tries to close the distance and clinch up but Wagner swats him away and circles back towards the center. We've been told by Wagner's head coaches at Cozad The Island that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Wagner drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Oshiro wants to sweep here but Wagner controlling him for the moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wagner is stalling in the full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Oshiro working a defensive guard but Wagner passes into half guard.
Oshiro is looking for a sweep. Wagner is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Oshiro looks like he's trying to stand up.
Wagner seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Oshiro controlling the position for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wagner perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Donald Wagner wasn't doing enough on the ground. Oshiro wants to clinch up but Wagner keeps it at a distance. Oshiro will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Oshiro will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Wagner shoots in for a takedown but Oshiro shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Oshiro tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Oshiro pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Wagner tries to score a power double leg takedown but Oshiro sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Wagner somewhat. Oshiro shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Trey Oshiro dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Oshiro fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Wagner throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Oshiro tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Oshiro gets a clinch. Oshiro lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Oshiro lands with a left to the head. Oshiro using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Wagner has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Wagner's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Oshiro pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Wagner looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Oshiro is fending him off so far but Wagner persists. Nope, Oshiro circles away and we're back to standing. Wagner misses with a series of wild punches.
Oshiro tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Wagner tries to clinch up but Oshiro circles away and keeps his distance. Oshiro is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wagner fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Oshiro dives in for a single leg takedown but Wagner sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Oshiro has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Wagner is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Donald Wagner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Trey Oshiro. A right handed body shot lands from Oshiro.
Oshiro breaks the clinch.
Trey Oshiro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wagner shoots for a double leg takedown but Oshiro sprawls well. He's pushed Wagner's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Oshiro doesn't manage to clinch there - Wagner circles away.
Wagner tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Oshiro defends well and Wagner ends up having to push Oshiro into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Oshiro lands a body punch in the clinch. Oshiro tries a body shot but Wagner blocks it.
Wagner fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Oshiro manages to break the clinch.
No luck for Wagner with that takedown attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Oshiro fails to land with a series of punches.
Oshiro throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Wagner's waist but Wagner gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Oshiro off to one side. Wagner slaps away a takedown attempt from Oshiro, before circling back to the center of the mat. Oshiro is breathing heavily. Wagner fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Oshiro avoids it really well and circles away. Wagner shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Oshiro is trying to defend but Wagner finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Wagner is trying to control. Oshiro wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Oshiro tries to roll over but Wagner keeps him under control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wagner content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Wagner passes the guard and advances to mount! Wagner wants to control the pace but Oshiro is squirming around nicely. Wagner is really struggling to control Oshiro but he's trying to hold on to the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wagner controlling from the full mount. Wagner looking to control but Oshiro is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Wagner working for a guillotine from mount but Oshiro is in no mood to give up. Oshiro is looking to improve his position but Wagner isn't that keen on the idea. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Donald Wagner will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Oshiro tries to close the distance and clinch up but Wagner swats him away and circles back towards the center. Wagner looks to land a combination but Oshiro avoids it well. Oshiro fails with an attempt to clinch.
Wagner tries to keep at a distance but Oshiro has taken the fight into the clinch. Oshiro breaks from the clinch.
Wagner scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Oshiro is trying to get back to half guard. Oshiro can't do much from the bottom here. Oshiro tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Wagner wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Wagner wants to lay and pray for a moment but Oshiro keeps working.
That's one minute gone in the round. Oshiro is looking for a sweep. Wagner decides to stand back up. Wagner steps back and let's Oshiro get back to his feet. Wagner throws a half hearted mid kick. Oshiro tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Wagner manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Wagner looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Oshiro is fending him off so far but Wagner persists. Nope, Oshiro circles away and we're back to standing. Wagner looks for a takedown but Oshiro sprawls well. Oshiro displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Wagner closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Oshiro's guard. Wagner looking to pass the guard. Wagner is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Oshiro wants to sweep but no luck. Wagner is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Oshiro pulls Wagner in to control the position. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Wagner looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Wagner leaves Oshiro with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Oshiro gets a clinch. Oshiro looking to throw knees to the head but Wagner is blocking nicely.
Oshiro tries to throw a body punch but Wagner avoids it by throwing Oshiro back against the cage. Oshiro breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Oshiro tries to clinch up but Wagner circles away and keeps his distance. Oshiro wants to clinch. Oshiro moves out of range of the body kick from Wagner.
Wagner looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Oshiro! Wagner controls the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Oshiro is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Wagner is controlling him well. Wagner content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Wagner seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Oshiro for as long as he can get away with. You can see the frustration on Oshiro's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Donald Wagner has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Oshiro throws a right hand that Wagner ducks under and follows up with a left that Wagner also avoids with ease. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Wagner tries to close the distance and clinch but Oshiro swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Oshiro will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
And that's the end of the fight! Donald Wagner showed his dominance in that final round. I think Wagner has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
