Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Teddy Bass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Romano Schoots (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Teddy Bass! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
31 - 26 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Romano Schoots! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bass shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Schoots counters with a leg kick. Schoots throws a head kick that misses. No joy there for Bass, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Bass scores with a takedown into Schoots's guard. Bass throwing strikes but missing. Bass tries to free his leg and advance position but Schoots is retaining full guard. Bass trying to control the position from guard on top but Schoots is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Schoots pulls Bass in to control the position. Bass throwing strikes from guard but Schoots blocks nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bass postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Bass passes easily into side control. Nice work. Bass lands some shots froms side control. Bass goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Schoots has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Bass but great work by Schoots. Bass avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Schoots. Bass tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Schoots presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Schoots prevents Bass from getting the reversal. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Schoots lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Bass hang on? Schoots scores with a couple of good head shots there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bass tries to hold on but Schoots pushes him away. Bass working to try and regain half guard.
Schoots has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Bass's face.
BOOM! Schoots connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Bass has worked his way to half guard, taking advantage of Schoots's lack of action.
Schoots is looking to stall here but Bass recovers full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Schoots looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Schoots advances position into side control! Schoots is looking to take a break and control but Bass is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Bass tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Schoots wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bass is trying to control Schoots's posture but Schoots avoids it. Schoots just content to control the position. Bass tries to get back to half guard but can't. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Schoots remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Romano Schoots will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Crunch! Bass slams his shin into Schoots's torso. Bass throws a sloppy head kick and Schoots moves out of range easily. Bass takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Bass on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Schoots. Schoots obviously looking to wear him down.
Bass pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bass looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Schoots fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bass manages to avoid it. Schoots checks the leg kick. Schoots scores with a sloppy right hand. Bass should have avoided that one.
It looks like Teddy Bass has been cut. Bass takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Bass is looking to score with low kicks.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bass misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Schoots wants to clinch up but Bass keeps it at a distance. Schoots misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bass walks into a stiff left hand from Schoots. Bass misses with a kick to the body and Schoots counters with a thumping low kick. Bass moves forwards but Schoots connects with a nice, crisp jab. A slapping body kick lands there for Bass. Schoots tries a head kick but it misses.
Bass feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Schoots's calf. Bass finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
A nice leg kick lands there from Schoots. Teddy Bass seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Schoots is looking to clinch but Bass is avoiding it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Nice takedown defense from Schoots. No joy for Bass on that attempt. Bass misses with an uppercut
and Schoots counters with a one-two to the body. Bass goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Bass keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Schoots walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Bass throws a lazy head kick and Schoots counters with a lovely straight right hand! Bass swings for the body but Schoots moves out of range.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Schoots. Bass swings for the body but Schoots moves out of range.
Schoots scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Bass avoids the body shot from Schoots.
A combination from Schoots does no damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Schoots moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Bass throws a series of strikes that have Schoots backpedaling.
Teddy Bass is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Bass throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Schoots fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Bass. A head kick by Bass misses and Schoots counters with a nice uppercut. Schoots has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Bass has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Schoots. Schoots missing with a left hand there. Bass was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Bass throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Schoots checks a leg kick nicely. Bass tries a head kick but it misses.
The crowd cheers as Bass lands an impressive looking overhand right. Schoots doesn't seem phased though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Schoots stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Bass is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Schoots steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Bass. Bass throws an overhand right that lands on Schoots's shoulder, as Schoots tries to avoid the shot. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Schoots. Bass lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Schoots tries to clinch but Bass moves out of range. Schoots ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bass moves away. Romano Schoots is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Bass with a lazy takedown attempt and Schoots counters with an inside leg kick. Bass shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Schoots defends it nicely. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Teddy Bass. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Bass fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Romano Schoots seems to be getting the better of the standup. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Schoots throws a wild combination but nothing lands. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Romano Schoots showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Teddy Bass's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Bass throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Schoots scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Schoots staying out of range there. Schoots punishes Bass's body with a nice straight punch. Bass misses with a head kick.
Bass connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. A big right from Bass misses. Bass misses with a wild body shot. Bass uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Schoots. Bass connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Bass scores with a nice head shot. Bass swings away with a body shot that misses
and Schoots moves into the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Schoots misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Schoots with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Schoots lands a hook to the side of the head. Schoots crunches a lovely knee into Bass's ribcage. Schoots lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Bass's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Schoots connects with a single shot there. Oh Bass is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Schoots cracks Bass on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Bass falls backwards against the cage. Schoots follows up with more strikes that drop Bass to his knees. Schoots keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Bass! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Romano Schoots! An out of breath Romano Schoots thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
