Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Phil Ivey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Orville Redenbacher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ivey comes to the cage accompanied by Friday. Redenbacher comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Danger Zone kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
43 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Phil Ivey! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
38 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Orville Redenbacher! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Frank Dennis and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Redenbacher connects with a good right hand that stumbles Ivey. Ivey circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Redenbacher takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
It looks like Orville Redenbacher has been cut. Ivey seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Redenbacher connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. A cross from Ivey lands. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Redenbacher misses with a low kick. Ivey keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Redenbacher throws a push kick but Ivey slaps the foot to one side. Redenbacher has Ivey up against the cage in a clinch.
Redenbacher swings wildly with an uppercut but Ivey uses good head movement to avoid it. A head punch on the inside from Redenbacher fails to land. Ivey prevents a body shot from Redenbacher. Ivey lands a body punch in the clinch. Ivey blocks an uppercut.
Ivey blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Ivey lands with a short punch from the clinch.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Ivey. Ivey tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Redenbacher's elbow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ivey breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ivey dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Redenbacher. That did some damage! Redenbacher takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Ivey cracks Redenbacher with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Redenbacher looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Ivey finish him?
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Donk. Redenbacher catches Ivey right on the button with a cross. A head kick misses from Ivey. Ivey misses with a body kick. Ivey lands a big head kick that sends Redenbacher to the canvas! Ivey follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Phil Ivey! Phil Ivey decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
