Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Austin Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Galt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Galt comes into a darkened arena with his song building. State of the Union by Rise Against kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson slips a jab and a cross from Galt.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Anderson.
Galt wants to control but Anderson postures up.
Galt sneaks back into half guard.
Anderson thows a huge punch but Galt dodges it nicely.
Anderson lands with a punch from half guard.

Anderson is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Anderson is nestled in close to Galt, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Galt is refusing to be controlled, as Anderson sits in half guard.
Galt keeps control of the position for the meantime.

OK we're going to have a standup here. John Galt hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Galt keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Anderson blocks a jab.
Anderson fails with an attempt to clinch.
Anderson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Galt lunges at Anderson with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Anderson's hand.

Galt tries to land a leg kick but Anderson saw it coming and moves away.

Anderson has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Anderson throws a looping overhand right but Galt ducks down to avoid it.
Anderson scores with a shot to the body.
Galt takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Galt attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.

Anderson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Galt napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Galt manages to get back to half guard.
Anderson lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Galt is looking to improve his position.
Anderson throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Anderson is keen to just control but Galt is a slippery customer.
Anderson landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Galt won't allow Anderson to pass to mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Galt is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Anderson is aware though and is defending well.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Anderson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Anderson wants to pass the guard but Galt is keeping the position.
Anderson chips away with some ground and pound.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Galt has momentary wrist control but Anderson slips an elbow through the middle.

Galt looking for a triangle here. Anderson is fighting it but it looks tight! Galt pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Anderson is tapping out - this one is all over!

A relieved looking John Galt thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
