Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Abel Speed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bill Clinton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Speed comes to the cage accompanied by Limp Bizkit / Break Stuff. Clinton has chosen Break Ya Neck as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Abel Speed!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bill Clinton!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clinton is looking to slow Speed down with leg kicks.
An inside leg kick lands from Clinton.
Clinton uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Speed.
Nice straight punches there by Speed. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Speed.
Clinton lunges at Speed with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Speed's hand.
Speed blocks the body kick.
Clinton takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Speed cracks Clinton with a good jab.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Clinton moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Speed shoots in for a double leg but Clinton sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Speed throws a series of punches but Clinton moves out of range.
Clinton shoots in for a takedown but Speed shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Clinton connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Speed momentarily.

Speed definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Speed fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Clinton looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Clinton connects with a leg kick. Speed looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Clinton works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Speed regains half guard, as Clinton was trying to land strikes.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Speed lands a nice looking body shot.
Speed is looking to wear down Clinton with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Speed shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Clinton sprawls well. Clinton wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Speed gets slowly back to his feet.
Speed takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Clinton lands a left and a right that send Speed crashing to the mat, dazed. Clinton thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Clinton shoots for a takedown but Speed saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Speed takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Clinton walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Speed checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Bill Clinton seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Speed takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Speed throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Clinton.

Well Clinton has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Bill Clinton made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying 'That's how you're gonna beat 'em, Billy. They keep underestimating you.'.
The defeated Abel Speed had this to say: 'Shouldn't have got too stoned and missed my flight. Oh well maybe a rematch is in order?'.
