Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Macadam Baird (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kermit Earlandson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Earlandson has chosen the theme from titanic as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Macadam Baird!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kermit Earlandson!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Tiny Johnson and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Baird clinches.
Earlandson creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

We've been hearing good reports from Baird's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Earlandson has his foot on Baird's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Baird works his way back into a safe position though.

That was a close round but I would say that Macadam Baird will probably get the nod.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Baird connects with a nice short shot to Earlandson's temple.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Earlandson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Earlandson showed some decent athleticism there.

Baird is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Earlandson rolls with it to try and escape but Baird cranks on the arm and Earlandson is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
