Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between jj Nate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamie Vaughan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, jj Nate! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jamie Vaughan! The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Viktor Lagutenko and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vaughan loads up on a big right hand but Nate slips the punch. Vaughan misses with a lunging right hand
and Nate counters with a nice kick to the body. Nate shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Vaughan as he avoids it easily. Nate uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Vaughan.
Vaughan throws a left and a right that both miss
and Nate counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Some wild striking there from Vaughan.
Vaughan throws a combination that misses and Nate counters with a leg kick. Nate dives in and grabs Vaughan's left leg, looking for a takedown. Vaughan pushes down on Nate's head and hops out. Nate throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Vaughan throws a lazy uppercut
and Nate counters by moving into the clinch. Vaughan working hard to break the clinch. Nate ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Nate no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Nate is looking for a triangle but Vaughan pushes his legs off easily.
Vaughan pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Nate is keeping the position for now. Vaughan wanted to stand there but Nate had control of the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vaughan sitting in guard here, content to control. Vaughan thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Nate knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Vaughan on the ground. Vaughan wants to control from the top but Nate keeps moving. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Vaughan slips nicely into half guard. Vaughan wants to work for an arm triangle but Nate is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Vaughan is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Nate defends it well. Nate is not content to let Vaughan control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Vaughan tries to pass the half guard into mount. Nate knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Vaughan thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Vaughan seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Nate does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Vaughan is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Vaughan thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Nate's head. Nate won't allow Vaughan to pass to mount. Vaughan looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Nate with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vaughan slows the pace down in half guard. Vaughan working Nate over with strikes. Vaughan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Nate keeps working. Vaughan is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Nate doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Vaughan. Vaughan is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Nate won't allow Vaughan to pass to mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Vaughan is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Nate is looking for a sweep. Vaughan is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Vaughan is trying for a kimura here. Nate looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Vaughan wins by kimura!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Jamie Vaughan!
