Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Adalberto Duran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Dover (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duran closes this distance looking for a takedown but Dover circles away.

Duran has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Dover is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Duran really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Duran has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Dover after a bit of a struggle.

Duran pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Dover tries to score a power double leg takedown but Duran sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dover somewhat.

It looks like Adalberto Duran has been cut.
Dover throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Duran's waist but Duran gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dover off to one side.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Let's hope that Dover has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Duran has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Dover uses from the top position.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Ben Dover was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Duran changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dover tries to avoid it but Duran manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dover to the ground. Dover escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Ben Dover seems to be getting the better of the standup.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
