Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dwain Mcmillan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rickey Shakes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dwain Mcmillan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rickey Shakes!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yuuki Gou and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shakes throws a head kick but Mcmillan moves out of range.
Shakes has his takedown stuffed
and Mcmillan makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Mcmillan tries to clinch up.

Shakes darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Shakes slows the pace down in half guard.
Shakes should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Mcmillan is trying to escape back to his feet but Shakes uses the scramble to pass into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Shakes controlling from side mount.
Mcmillan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Shakes on the ground.
Mcmillan gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Mcmillan is working to get back to half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mcmillan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Mcmillan wants to control but Shakes is having none of it.
Mcmillan is looking to improve his position but Shakes isn't that keen on the idea.

Shakes is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Mcmillan to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Mcmillan shrugs it off.

Shakes lands with some strikes.
Shakes cracks Mcmillan with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Mcmillan is working to get back to half guard.
Mcmillan sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Shakes looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Shakes is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Mcmillan defends it well.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Shakes tries to pass to full mount but Mcmillan defends it.

Shakes seems to be looking for submissions.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Shakes passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Mcmillan!
Mcmillan is working to get back to half guard.
Shakes lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Shakes sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

Shakes lands a big elbow - Mcmillan is in trouble! More strikes from the mount and Mcmillan is forced to tap out!
