Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Anders Lundin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Seamus Brady (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Seamus Brady has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Anders Lundin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Seamus Brady!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Paul Tew and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lundin clinches up against the cage.

Lundin lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Brady tries to roll over but Lundin keeps him under control.

Lundin is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Brady as he works his way to full guard.
Lundin tries to free his leg and advance position but Brady is retaining full guard.
Lundin has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Brady is proving hard to escape from.

Brady manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Lundin manages to get himself to full guard.

Brady is pressing down on Lundin's thigh, looking to free his foot. Lundin is holding on for now.
Brady throwing shots but Lundin is blocking nicely.
Brady wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lundin keeps working.
Lundin wants to get back to his feet.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Lundin shoots in looking for a takedown. Brady tries to sprawl out of it but Lundin keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Brady manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Brady moves into range and clinches up with Lundin.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Lundin throws a knee to the head but misses.
Lundin tries to pull guard but Brady holds him up against the cage and eventually Lundin drops back down to his feet.
Lundin digs a right hand into Brady's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Brady's gas tank.
Brady tries to break the clinch but Lundin is controlling the position.

Lundin has hold of one of Brady's legs. Brady is fighting the takedown attempt but Lundin gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Lundin is breathing heavily.

Brady has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lundin can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Brady is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Brady thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Brady had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Lundin is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Brady Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Lundin's back instead.

Brady is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Brady doesn't have the hooks in and Lundin manages to turn into his guard.
Lundin looking to sit in guard and control but Brady gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Lundin is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Lundin looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Lundin has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Brady off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Brady closes the distance but Lundin moves to the side

and Lundin counters by clinching up.
Lundin lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Brady backwards.
Lundin tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Brady just stands there and leans against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Anders Lundin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Brady is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Lundin is keeping busy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Anders Lundin dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Brady throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Brady tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Lundin tries for a takedown but Brady sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

and Lundin holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Brady has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Lundin avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Brady jumps guard but Lundin stands there with Brady around his waist. Brady gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Lundin gets control of Brady's arms and successfully pulls guard. Lundin will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Lundin working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Brady doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Brady manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Lundin is working an open guard so Brady takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Brady is looking to improve his position but Lundin isn't that keen on the idea.
Brady wants to control but Lundin is having none of it.

Lundin postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Brady looks a forlorn figure.

Brady wants to hold on but Lundin pushes him away.
Lundin fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Lundin misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Brady decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

and Lundin counters with a shoot takedown. Brady fights it but they end up in guard.

Lundin has gone for a leg lock! Brady slips out almost immediately though and dives into Lundin's guard.

Lundin seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Lundin seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Brady for as long as he can get away with.
Lundin seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Brady does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Brady regains full guard. Nicely done.
Lundin passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Seamus Brady has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Lundin tries to get to his feet but Brady is in the middle of advancing position himself and ends up with Lundin in his guard.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Anders Lundin.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Lundin, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
