The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jong goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
It looks like Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira has been cut.
Jong misses with a looping left.
Jong wants to slow Rodrigo Nogueira down by chopping away at his legs.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Rodrigo Nogueira has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Jong stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
