The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pableo defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Shuden.
Pableo tries to clinch

and Shuden counters by moving into the clinch.
Pableo tries to stall but Shuden uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Pableo gets underhooks to prevent Shuden's takedown attempt.
Shuden changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Pableo fights it off and pushes away nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Doian Shuden. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Pableo wants to clinch
and Shuden counters with a series of strikes. Pableo will be more careful next time no doubt.
Pableo looks for the body kick but Shuden saw that one coming.

Nice takedown defense from Pableo. No joy for Shuden on that attempt.

Shuden changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Pableo looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Pableo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Shuden. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Shuden is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Pableo looks calm but he's in trouble here. Shuden gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Pableo is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Shuden lets go of the hold and Pableo can pop his arm back in it's socket.
