Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Donnie O Brien (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Mulroney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). O Brien comes into the arena with Rocky Road to Dublin blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
O Brien on the wrong end of a nice jab.

O Brien is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Mulroney sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Mulroney is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

O Brien with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Mulroney to score with a decent uppercut.

and Mulroney counters with a slapping leg kick.
O Brien avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Donnie O Brien seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mulroney connects with a jab.

and Mulroney finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
