Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jay Fernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Albert De Morcerf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). De Morcerf comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Non, Je ne regrette Rien kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jay Fernandez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Albert De Morcerf! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Patrick Alders and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! De Morcerf throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
De Morcerf looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Fernandez lands with a good body shot. Fernandez throws a wild combination but nothing lands. De Morcerf misses with the combination.
Fernandez lands a high kick!
Fernandez darts in and clinches De Morcerf up against the cage. De Morcerf decides to pull guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Fernandez thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Fernandez is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Fernandez working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fernandez throwing strikes but missing. Fernandez gets to his feet - De Morcerf follows without any prompting. Fernandez just misses with a punch to the body.
Fernandez misses with the combination.
Albert De Morcerf seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fernandez has taken the fight to the clinch.
Fernandez escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Fernandez drops De Morcerf with a beautiful combination! De Morcerf stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Fernandez is looking for the KO!
De Morcerf is rocked!
It looks like Albert De Morcerf has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Fernandez closes the distance and pushes De Morcerf back into the cage. De Morcerf is still on wobbly legs! Can Fernandez finish him? Fernandez manages to break the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fernandez throws a sloppy head kick and De Morcerf moves out of range easily. Fernandez throws a right and a left that both miss. De Morcerf blocks a head kick by Fernandez.
Fernandez scores with a body shot.
Fernandez thows a body kick. De Morcerf tries to catch it but that hurt him. Fernandez throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Fernandez throws a head kick that misses. Fernandez lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - De Morcerf can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Fernandez and De Morcerf drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Fernandez.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jay Fernandez! Albert De Morcerf spoke after the fight, saying 'It was my lose, and i dont like its taste. I am going to train harder for not to taste it again!'.
