Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kato Kiyomasa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lunchmeat Sandwich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kato Kiyomasa could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Lunchmeat Sandwich's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kato Kiyomasa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Lunchmeat Sandwich! The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Josh West and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sandwich darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kiyomasa wants to improve his position but Sandwich is controlling well.
Sandwich is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kiyomasa defends it well. Kiyomasa is trying to maintain the position but Sandwich is very close to passing his half guard. Sandwich is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! The fighters are battling for position here. Kiyomasa manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Sandwich is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Kiyomasa is pulling down on Sandwich's head to control his posture. Sandwich pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kiyomasa is keeping the position for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kiyomasa keeping moving, preventing Sandwich from controlling successfully. Kiyomasa not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Sandwich wants to control from the top but Kiyomasa keeps moving. Sandwich tries to free his leg and advance position but Kiyomasa is retaining full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Kiyomasa moves in looking to clinch but Sandwich pushes him off. Sandwich swats away the attempt to clinch by Kiyomasa. Kiyomasa takes a swing at Sandwich's ribcage but misses. Kiyomasa throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
We've been hearing reports that Kiyomasa has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Kiyomasa misses the jab. Donk. Kiyomasa catches Sandwich right on the button with a cross. Kiyomasa misses with an uppercut. Sandwich dives in for a single leg takedown but Kiyomasa sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Sandwich blocks a body shot from Kiyomasa. Kiyomasa being controlled against the cage. Kiyomasa lands a nice uppercut.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Sandwich takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. A head punch on the inside from Kiyomasa fails to land. Kiyomasa lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. A battle for position here, against the cage. Sandwich is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Sandwich is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Kiyomasa can't fight it off and eventually Sandwich manages to take the fight to the floor. Kiyomasa looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kiyomasa throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Kiyomasa really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Kiyomasa is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Sandwich trying to control but Kiyomasa is working from the bottom. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Sandwich might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Kiyomasa haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Nice sprawl there from Kiyomasa as Sandwich shoots in. Sandwich misses with a takedown and Kiyomasa counters with a nice uppercut. Kato Kiyomasa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lunchmeat Sandwich. Sandwich takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Kato Kiyomasa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kiyomasa scores with a jab. Kiyomasa pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Sandwich back to the cage. Kiyomasa follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kiyomasa ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kiyomasa throws a combination. Sandwich tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Sandwich drives through with a takedown into Kiyomasa's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Kiyomasa trying to control the position.
Sandwich trying to control the position from guard on top but Kiyomasa is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sandwich stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kiyomasa swivels though and keeps the full guard. Kiyomasa escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Sandwich gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Sandwich content to stall in guard here. Sandwich trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Sandwich avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Sandwich drops back looking for a leg! Kiyomasa is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kiyomasa manages to kick Sandwich off! Sandwich jumps back into Kiyomasa's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Kato Kiyomasa will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Kiyomasa fails to move to back control. Sandwich is trying desperately to improve position. Kiyomasa tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Kiyomasa wants to control the pace but Sandwich is squirming around nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sandwich regains half guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Sandwich tries to roll over but Kiyomasa keeps him under control. Sandwich has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kiyomasa is working away from the top position though. Sandwich is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Kiyomasa is staying active.

Sandwich looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kiyomasa is fending him off so far but Sandwich persists. Nope, Kiyomasa circles away and we're back to standing. Kato Kiyomasa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lunchmeat Sandwich. Kiyomasa takes a swing at Sandwich's ribcage but misses. Sandwich misses with a takedown attempt - Kiyomasa sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Kiyomasa tries to close the distance and clinch but Sandwich swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Kiyomasa pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Kiyomasa clinches with his opponent.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Sandwich looking to slow down the pace here. Sandwich breaks from the clinch.

Kiyomasa clinches. Kiyomasa stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Kiyomasa pushes Sandwich back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Kiyomasa doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Sandwich drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Kiyomasa gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Sandwich is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Kiyomasa lands a left hand.
Sandwich is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Kiyomasa lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Sandwich's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Kiyomasa tests Sandwich's chin there with a solid looking shot. Kiyomasa throws a hook but Sandwich avoids it easily. Sandwich throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Kiyomasa tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Sandwich is in Kiyomasa's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kiyomasa keeping full guard, as Sandwich tries to pass. Kiyomasa has his feet on Sandwich's thighs here. He's pushed Sandwich off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Sandwich screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
