Helfrety comes to the cage accompanied by This Calling by All that remains. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rob Helfrety!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mark Wood!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Steve Smith and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Helfrety shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Wood but Wood pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Mark Wood seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Helfrety has a takedown stuffed.
Wood moves into the clinch successfully.
Wood is pressed up against the cage. Helfrety has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Wood down to the mat. Wood avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rob Helfrety. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Wood misses the shot to the body.
Wood lands with a thumping leg kick.
Helfrety lands with an uppercut that bounces Wood off the cage and back into rage.
Helfrety tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Wood swivels and escapes.
Helfrety has a takedown stuffed.
Wood closes the distance and clinches.
Wood escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Wood lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Helfrety is breathing heavily.
Helfrety rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Wood moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Helfrety shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Wood as he avoids it easily.
Wood with a nice cross.
Helfrety is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Wood stuffs the takedown attempt from Helfrety. Helfrety gets slowly back to his feet.
Oh Helfrety is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wood sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Helfrety's defenses. It connects perfectly with Helfrety's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Mark Wood!
