Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Josh Laston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nate Crook (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Laston comes to the cage accompanied by Ice Cube - Today was a Good Day. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crook tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Crook has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Crook misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Laston.
Laston tries to clinch but Crook is having none of it.
Nate Crook seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Crook dodges the punch combination from Laston.
Laston needs to keep his hands up - Crook had a free shot at his head there.
Crook looks to land a right hand but Laston moved out of range.
Crook connects with a body shot that sends Laston's belly button to the back.
Crook throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Crook uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

It looks like Josh Laston has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Laston wants to clinch up but Crook keeps it at a distance.
Laston ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Crook throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Laston blocks a jab.
Crook circles away from the clinch attempt.
Laston has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Laston is looking to clinch.
Crook lands a jab to the head.
Laston takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Nice uppercut there from Crook.
Crook throws an overhand right that lands on Laston's shoulder, as Laston tries to avoid the shot.

Crook lands a big uppercut and Laston crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Laston looks OK. Crook waves Laston back to his feet!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Crook fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Laston out cold! Brutal finish!
