The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Saam Ante and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Walsh decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Gunderson's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Walsh tries to score a power double leg takedown but Gunderson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Walsh somewhat.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

and Walsh counters with a series of strikes. Gunderson will be more careful next time no doubt.
Walsh shoots in looking for a takedown but Gunderson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Walsh's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Walsh manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Gunderson on his heels. He'll look to pass Gunderson's guard now, I'm sure.

Gunderson tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Walsh presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

Walsh looking to break Gunderson's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Gunderson remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Walsh will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
