The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lieber tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Plessis was well out of range. Poor timing from Lieber.
Plessis is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Lieber swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Plessis counters with a body kick.
Plessis moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Plessis misses with a body kick.
We've been told by Plessis's head coaches at *NEW* Xtreme Fight Club (easily best gym in Amster that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Plessis looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Plessis throws a leg kick which misses Lieber's front leg but catches the back leg as Lieber tries to avoid it.
Lieber pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Plessis throws a half hearted mid kick.
Lieber looks to land a combination but Plessis avoids it well.
Plessis ducks under a wild hook from Lieber.
Plessis scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Lieber misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

It looks like Max Lieber has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Lieber chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Plessis can pounce on him.

That has opened up Max Lieber's cut even more.
Plessis wants to clinch.

Plessis dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Lieber. That did some damage!
Plessis takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Plessis connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Plessis throws a push kick but Lieber slaps the foot to one side.
Lieber misses with a body punch
and Plessis counters with a slapping leg kick.
Plessis is looking to clinch but Lieber is avoiding it.

Lieber scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Lieber has a takedown stuffed.
Plessis moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Lieber connects with a body shot that sends Plessis's belly button to the back.

Plessis is looking to clinch.
Plessis slips a straight right by Lieber.
Lieber's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Lieber misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Plessis.

Plessis lands a big head kick that sends Lieber tumbling to the mat! Plessis takes a step backwards and waves Lieber back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Lieber is still on wobbly legs! Can Plessis finish him?

The cut above Max Lieber's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Whack! Plessis lands a heavy head kick that drops Lieber. The ref tackles Plessis to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Lieber was done.
