Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Adolphson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keiji Mutou (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
24 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alexander Adolphson! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 3 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Keiji Mutou! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, William Gold and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mutou gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Adolphson counters with a nice low kick that buckles Mutou's knee momentarily. Mutou swats away the attempt to clinch by Adolphson. Adolphson moves in looking to clinch but Mutou pushes him off. Adolphson throws a leg kick but Mutou checks it. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Mutou has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Adolphson looks to land a right hand but Mutou moved out of range. Mutou keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Adolphson throws a chopping leg kick but Mutou manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Adolphson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mutou moves away. Good work by Mutou as he checks the leg kick. Adolphson fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Mutou. Mutou closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mutou manages to reverse the position and now he's in Adolphson's guard. Nice work there by Mutou.

Mutou is looking to control Adolphson's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Mutou avoid being mounted? Mutou avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Adolphson. Mutou is looking for a sweep. Adolphson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Adolphson wants to free his trapped foot but Mutou is holding on for dear life with his legs. Adolphson tries to bum rush Mutou with a series of wild strikes but Mutou uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Mutou avoids a punch combination nicely.

Keiji Mutou really dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Adolphson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Mutou is looking to sweep but instead, Adolphson has passed into half guard.
Adolphson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Mutou does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Mutou wants to get back to full guard. Adolphson content to control rather than advance. Mutou punching from the bottom.

Mutou is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Mutou is pressing down on Adolphson's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Adolphson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Adolphson stays in close to Mutou's body and controls the position. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close fourth round but I would say that Alexander Adolphson will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Adolphson is rocked! A big strike lands for Mutou! That's really hurt Adolphson and he's turned his back - Mutou keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Mutou jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
