PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lawerence Mcconnell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darren Manhove (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Lawerence Mcconnell has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Lawerence Mcconnell seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Bruno Hogan and Ron Honeybunn.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcconnell walks into a jab.
Mcconnell doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Mcconnell needs to keep his hands up - Manhove had a free shot at his head there.

Mcconnell pushes Manhove up against the cage in a clinch.
Mcconnell is trying to drag Manhove to the mat but Manhove just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Manhove's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Manhove throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Mcconnell holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Manhove has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Mcconnell clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Manhove gets his hands free as Mcconnell looks to control.
Manhove tries to keep control of the position but Mcconnell is staying busy.
Manhove might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Mcconnell haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Manhove has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Mcconnell is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Manhove.
