Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chauncey Hancock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricky Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ricky Martin will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Steve Erwin and Damien Edna.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martin rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hancock moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Martin misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Hancock shoots in for a takedown but Martin shows good takedown defense.

Martin drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Martin wanted to stand there but Hancock had control of the position.
Martin trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Hancock utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Hancock seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Hancock looking for a guillotine here but Martin defends easily.
Martin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hancock swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Martin has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Hancock is proving hard to escape from.
Hancock has control of Martin's left arm, preventing Martin from doing any damage.
Hancock wants to get back to his feet but Martin is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Hancock keeping moving, preventing Martin from controlling successfully.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Hancock gets tackled into the cage by Martin. Martin maintains the clinch.

Martin has clasped his hands together around Hancock's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

Martin is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Hancock is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Hancock manages to work his way to half guard, despite Martin's best efforts.

Hancock tries to get to full guard but Martin has control of the leg.
Hancock trying to hold on to Martin's head to control him but Martin postures up.
Martin is looking to take a break and control but Hancock is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Hancock is controlling Martin's trapped leg to prevent Martin from advancing to side control.
Hancock gets back to full guard.

Hancock is looking for a triangle but Martin pushes his legs off easily.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Hancock throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Martin wants to control from the top but Hancock keeps moving.

Hancock is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Martin defends well.

Hancock is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Martin frees his head nicely. Oh but Hancock has switched to an armbar! Martin is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
