Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Paul Maul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonathan Segal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jonathan Segal told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Segal cracks Maul with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Maul takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Segal throws a poor cross that misses
and Maul counters with a nice body shot.
Maul jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Segal throws a right and a left that both miss.
Segal is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Maul steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Segal.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Maul misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Segal counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Maul is rocked!
Segal fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Maul manages to avoid it.
Oh Maul is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Maul looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Segal lands a nice looking body shot.
Segal avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Segal jabs at Maul's body.
Segal circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Maul to the canvas! Maul doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Segal keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

A relieved looking Jonathan Segal thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
