The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thiago fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Kart stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Thiago.
Thiago lands a front kick.
Kart changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Thiago tries to avoid it but Kart manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Thiago to the ground. Thiago escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Thiago lands a really nice looking cross but Kart seems unphased.

Kart shoots in but Thiago avoids the takedown attempt easily.
We've been told by Thiago's head coaches at Island Top Team that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Thiago lands a nice looking kick to the body. Kart takes a step back to recover.
Thiago circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Kart to the canvas! Kart doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Thiago keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
