Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eero Niinimaa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Savage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Savage comes into a darkened arena with his song building. All Shall Perish - Wage Slaves kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Jack Savage has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jack Savage!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Patrick Alders and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Niinimaa clobbers Savage with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Niinimaa chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Savage can pounce on him.
A jab from Savage does it's job there.
Savage dodges the punch combination from Niinimaa.
Niinimaa throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Savage stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Savage lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Savage pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Savage throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Niinimaa thuds a left hand into Savage's body.
No joy there for Savage, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Niinimaa throws the left hand but Savage avoids the punch easily.
Niinimaa connects with a body shot that sends Savage's belly button to the back.
Niinimaa with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Niinimaa keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Niinimaa throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Savage.
Savage drops his hands momentarily and Niinimaa takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
It looks like Jack Savage has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Savage ducks under a wild hook from Niinimaa.
Savage walks into a left hand.
Niinimaa throws a right hand that misses
and Savage counters with a slapping leg kick.
Niinimaa fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Savage to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Savage looks to clinch but Niinimaa throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Savage taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Eero Niinimaa!
