Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Owen Finnigan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Glen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Owen Finnigan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Rick Glen! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Richard Clark and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Glen shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Finnigan pinned against the cage. Finnigan gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Finnigan gets in close and instigates a clinch. Finnigan manages to break the clinch.
Finnigan throws a leg kick which misses Glen's front leg but catches the back leg as Glen tries to avoid it. Glen fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Finnigan avoids it really well and circles away. Glen shoots in but no luck this time. Owen Finnigan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rick Glen. Finnigan throws a one two combo.
Glen tries to clinch there but Finnigan circles away.
Horrible takedown by Glen or perhaps it was just good defense by Finnigan which made him look bad. Finnigan throws a wild body kick that Glen sees coming a mile off. Glen moves into range and connects with a jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Finnigan fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Finnigan misses with a two punch combination.
Glen has his takedown stuffed and Finnigan counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Glen thinking. Glen shoots for a double leg takedown but Finnigan sprawls well. He's pushed Glen's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Glen fails with a takedown attempt. Finnigan shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Finnigan keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Glen shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A head kick misses from Finnigan. Finnigan shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Glen defends it nicely. Finnigan throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Glen's waist but Glen gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Finnigan off to one side. Finnigan attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Glen blocks a leg kick. Glen shoots in looking for a takedown. Finnigan tries to sprawl out of it but Glen keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Finnigan manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Finnigan clinches up against the cage. Finnigan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Finnigan throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Glen's waist but Glen gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Finnigan off to one side. Glen misses the shot to the body. Glen tries to score with a low kick but Finnigan moves his leg out of the way. Glen shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Finnigan but Finnigan pushes him off and we're back to square one. Finnigan has closed the distance and engaged Glen in a clinch.
Finnigan has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Glen is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Finnigan breaks from the clinch.
Finnigan fails to land the takedown. Finnigan is breathing heavily. Glen looks for a takedown but Finnigan sprawls well. Finnigan misses with a jab to the body
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Glen shoots in for a takedown but Finnigan shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Horrible takedown by Glen or perhaps it was just good defense by Finnigan which made him look bad. Finnigan swats away the attempt to clinch by Glen. Finnigan throws a series of punches but Glen avoids them all with ease. Finnigan rushes Glen and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Finnigan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Finnigan is looking to clinch. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Glen lands a nice looking kick to the body. Finnigan takes a step back to recover. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Glen fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Finnigan avoids it really well and circles away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Owen Finnigan dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Glen shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Finnigan as he avoids it easily. Glen checks a leg kick. Finnigan shoots for a takedown but Glen saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Glen pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Finnigan misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Owen Finnigan is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Finnigan showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Glen.
Glen gets a double leg takedown into Finnigan's guard. Glen looking to sit in guard and control but Finnigan gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's one minute gone in the round. Finnigan engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Glen has his hands on Finnigan's head, controlling the position. Glen is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Finnigan tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Finnigan wants to get back to his feet.
Finnigan is looking for a sweep. Glen is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Glen drops an elbow to the side of Finnigan's head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Glen works his foot free and advances to mount. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Glen trying to control but he's not successful this time. Finnigan keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Glen jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Finnigan is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Finnigan and Glen has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Finnigan is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Glen creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Finnigan sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Finnigan looking for a sweep but Glen has passed into full mount! Oh no! Finnigan is squirming around, avoiding Glen's attempts to control the action.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Glen is working for a guillotine from mount but Finnigan frees his head quite easily.
Finnigan can't escape the position.
Glen is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Finnigan can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Finnigan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Glen on the ground. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Glen lands a heavy elbow. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rick Glen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Glen gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily enabling Finnigan to counter with a crisp jab. Glen tries to clinch up and Finnigan counters with a good, hard body kick but Glen shrugs it off. Finnigan throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Finnigan throws a sloppy head kick and Glen moves out of range easily. Finnigan stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Finnigan wants it to stay on the feet. Owen Finnigan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rick Glen.
That's one minute gone in the round. Finnigan tries to clinch but Glen moves out of range. Finnigan shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Glen sprawls well. Glen wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Finnigan gets slowly back to his feet. Finnigan misses with the combination.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Finnigan gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Finnigan tries to score a body lock takedown but Glen shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Finnigan taking a breather. Finnigan is trying to stall.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Finnigan tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Glen smiles and moves away.

Glen is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Finnigan to keep the fight standing. Finnigan has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Glen avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Glen successfully pulls guard.

Finnigan has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Glen is proving hard to escape from.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Glen throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Glen is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Glen working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Finnigan doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Finnigan manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Finnigan stopping the sweep attempt from Glen. Glen working from the bottom, still in full guard. Glen wants to control the pace but Finnigan is squirming around nicely. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Finnigan tries to hold on but Glen postures up.
And that's the end of the fight! Rick Glen comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Glen has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
