Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kid Joe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wade Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Joe comes into the arena with (Ugly kid joe) Everything about you blaring out of the sound system. Wilson has chosen Ave Maria as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Kid Joe! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
33 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Wade Wilson! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wilson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Joe manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Wilson misses with a low kick as Joe jumps back. Wilson scores with a hook.
It looks like Kid Joe has been cut. Wilson gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Joe slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Wilson looking for a sweep. Not yet Wilson, not yet. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Wilson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Joe's guard. Wilson throwing strikes from guard but Joe blocks nicely. Wilson wants to pass the guard but Joe is keeping the position. Joe is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Joe manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. Joe jumps guard but Wilson turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Still in the clinch, Wilson scores with a nice short uppercut. Wilson blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Joe tries for a takedown but Wilson manages to get underhooks.

Joe is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Wilson pulls him back up using the underhooks. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kid Joe. That's going to take a lot out of him. Joe has clasped his hands together around Wilson's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Wilson managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Joe.
Wilson is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Joe off and has taken his back! Joe tries to escape the position.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Wilson is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Joe defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
That's two minutes gone in the round. So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Wilson looking to break Joe's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Joe remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Wilson will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! I really don't envy Joe right now.
Wilson working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Joe is doing well to defend. Wilson seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Joe is forced to tap and this one is over!
