Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Diomedes Argosian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abel Zero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Argosian comes to the cage accompanied by "Scarface Groove" by Paris. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Diomedes Argosian! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Abel Zero! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Trevor Gratis and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zero circles away from the clinch attempt.
Zero throws a lazy right hand but Argosian sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Zero looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Argosian changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Zero tries to avoid it but Argosian manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Zero to the ground. Zero escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Argosian looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Zero is fending him off so far but Argosian persists. Nope, Zero circles away and we're back to standing. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Zero throws the kick towards the body but Argosian avoids it. Argosian shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Argosian showed some decent athleticism there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zero is looking to improve his position.
Zero tries to kick Argosian off but Argosian keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Argosian throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Zero tries to get to full guard but Argosian has control of the leg. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Argosian connects with a nice short shot to Zero's temple. Zero taking some punishment here, with Argosian in his half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Argosian keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Zero is not content to let Argosian control the position. Zero gets back to full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Argosian is really struggling to control Zero but he's trying to hold on to the position. Argosian trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Argosian has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Zero is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Zero misses with a kick to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Zero stuffs the takedown attempt from Argosian. Argosian gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Diomedes Argosian. That's going to take a lot out of him. Argosian tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Zero paws at him with a jab and circles away. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Zero swats away the attempt to clinch by Argosian. Zero fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Argosian. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Diomedes Argosian dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Argosian throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Zero's waist but Zero gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Argosian off to one side. Argosian shoots in but no luck this time. Zero takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Zero misses with a body kick. Argosian shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Diomedes Argosian. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Argosian fails with the takedown. Argosian staying out of range there. A slow jab from Argosian misses its intended target. Argosian steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Zero. That one must have hurt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Zero pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Zero gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Argosian looking to pass the guard. Argosian wants to control from the top but Zero keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Zero is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Zero looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Argosian trying to control but Zero is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Zero moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Zero on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Some bone on bone action there as Argosian checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Abel Zero will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Argosian checks a leg kick. Argosian will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Argosian looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Zero is fending him off so far but Argosian persists. Nope, Zero circles away and we're back to standing. Argosian swings for the body but Zero moves out of range.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A nice leg kick lands there from Zero. Argosian tries to close the distance and clinch up but Zero swats him away and circles back towards the center. Zero misses with a straight left. Zero pivots, looking for a leg kick but Argosian is out of range and Zero settles back down. Zero pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Argosian misses with a wild combination.
Argosian throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Zero. Argosian throws a jab when Zero was well out of range. Zero misses with a head kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Zero takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Zero misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Argosian tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Argosian throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Argosian doesn't manage to clinch there - Zero circles away.
And that's the end of the fight! Abel Zero comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Zero has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
