The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belisle tries to land a front kick but rua steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Belisle ducks down and throws a hook to the body but rua moves away.
Belisle gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
rua must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Belisle has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. rua doesn't defend quickly enough and Belisle has managed to lock this one up! Can rua escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Belisle on a fantastic submission victory.
