Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nathaniel Lindsey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Strong Omar!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Omar decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Lindsey wants to improve his position but Omar is controlling well.
Lindsey might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Lindsey looking for a sweep. Not yet Lindsey, not yet.
Lindsey manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Omar manages to get himself to full guard.

Lindsey is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Omar is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Omar has escaped and now he's on top!
Lindsey wants to get back to his feet but Omar is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Omar seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Omar seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Lindsey does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Omar takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Strong Omar.

Lindsey shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Omar swats away the attempt to clinch by Lindsey.

Omar decides to stand back up. Omar steps back and let's Lindsey get back to his feet.

Omar gets caught napping as Lindsey dives in and scores a takedown. Omar manages to retain guard.

Lindsey throws a strike but Omar rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

We've been informed that Omar has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Lindsey is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Omar shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lindsey's guard.

Omar is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Lindsey manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Omar manages to get himself to full guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Omar can do anything to dispel that myth.

Lindsey drops back, looking for a kneebar! Omar looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Omar looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Omar!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lindsey is letting Omar control him for a moment.

Omar decides to stand back up. Omar steps back and let's Lindsey get back to his feet.
Lindsey wants to clinch up but Omar keeps it at a distance.

Lindsey closes the distance and pushes Omar back into the cage.

Lindsey gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

Omar wants to stand up but Lindsey is controlling him.

Omar working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lindsey doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lindsey manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

That was a close second round but I would say that Nathaniel Lindsey will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Lindsey is looking to clinch but Omar is avoiding it.

Lindsey has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Omar clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Omar is in a bad position with Lindsey working for a choke. Omar manages to spin nicely into guard and the danger is over for the moment.

Omar is pressed up against the cage. Lindsey has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Omar down to the mat. Omar avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

I would just about give that final round to Strong Omar.
