Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Branson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cain Slyker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Branson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Meytal Cohen - Toxicity. Slyker has chosen It's Amazing by Kanye West as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Cain Slyker has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Branson gets caught napping as Slyker dives in and scores a takedown. Branson manages to retain guard.

Branson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Slyker gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Slyker must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Branson is on top in guard.

Branson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Slyker swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Branson drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Slyker dives on top into guard.
Slyker is in close to Branson's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Slyker loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Slyker throws a big right hand that misses.

Branson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Slyker can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Branson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Slyker defends it easily.

Slyker is sitting in close to Branson's body. Branson has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Slyker is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Slyker is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Branson.
