Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ebenezer Cramp!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mike Lawrie!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Arvi Lind and Anni Minnemäki.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lawrie shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Cramp manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Lawrie postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lawrie trying to control but Cramp is working from the bottom.
Lawrie is looking to pass into half guard but Cramp pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Cramp is in guard.
Cramp prevents Lawrie from getting back to his feet.

Cramp shoots in looking for a takedown but Lawrie manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Cramp's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Lawrie really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cramp. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Ebenezer Cramp just wasn't active enough.
Cramp stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Cramp wants it to stay on the feet.

Lawrie manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Cramp on his heels. He'll look to pass Cramp's guard now, I'm sure.

Lawrie postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Cramp is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Lawrie, into his guard.

Lawrie is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Lawrie wants to stand up but Cramp is controlling him.

Cramp dives in for a single leg takedown but Lawrie sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Lawrie gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Cramp regains guard.

Cramp bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Lawrie's guard.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!


Horrible takedown attempt by Lawrie or perhaps it was just good defense by Cramp, which made it look bad.

Lawrie seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Cramp tries to kick Lawrie off but Lawrie keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Cramp makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Cramp.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Cramp is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Lawrie is looking to work some ground and pound but Cramp has wrist control.

Lawrie avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Mike Lawrie comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Cramp has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
