Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lycus Lycan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Asiong Salonga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Ren Mimura and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salonga shoots in for a takedown but Lycan shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Salonga closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Lycan tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Salonga wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Lycan wants to control but Salonga postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Salonga tries to score with some ground and pound. Lycan controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Salonga shoots in looking for a takedown. Lycan tries to sprawl out of it but Salonga keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lycan manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

I would just about give that final round to Asiong Salonga.
Well Salonga has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
