Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Paul Gruel and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leyton moves into the clinch.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Stewart stands and steps away. Leyton gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Stewart shoots in but Leyton avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Max Leyton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stewart tries to score a power double leg takedown but Leyton sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Stewart somewhat.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Stewart looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Leyton is fending him off so far but Stewart persists. Nope, Leyton circles away and we're back to standing.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Stewart gets tackled into the cage by Leyton. Leyton maintains the clinch.

Stewart throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Stewart is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Lupe Stewart.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Stewart, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
