Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Joseph Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronnie Nose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Williams comes to the cage accompanied by River Below by Billy Talent. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joseph Williams! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ronnie Nose! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Daniel Franklin and Stewart Dunkirk.
![](https://www.mmatycoon.com/images/fight/round1.jpg) The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Williams shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Williams shoots in and drives through. Nose sprawls well. A combination from Williams does no damage. Williams avoids the head kick by Nose.
Williams shoots in but no luck this time. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joseph Williams. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Williams has a takedown stuffed.

A telegraphed right hand from Nose misses the target. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Williams misses with a looping right.

Williams closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Nose tries to roll over but Williams keeps him under control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Nose is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. The fighters are battling for position here. Nose manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Nose is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Nose is working away from the top position though. Nose content to control rather than advance. Nose is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Williams tries to get to full guard but Nose has control of the leg. Nose is nestled in close to Williams, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Nose is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Williams has managed to free his arm - good work.
Nose is working for a submission of some sort.
Williams is trying to control but can't.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Williams is looking to improve his position.
Williams is breathing heavily. Well, if Nose is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Nose is looking to take a break and control but Williams is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ronnie Nose dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!

Nose shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Williams keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nose working away from the top, dropping strikes. Nose with shots to the head and body - Williams looks very uncomfortable down there.
Nose looking to isolate an arm here. Williams doesn't see it coming and as Nose extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Nose!
