Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jyunichi sato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aron Bell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jyunichi sato has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jyunichi sato! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Aron Bell! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! sato swinging wilding here.
sato will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. sato misses with a body shot.
sato walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. sato rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bell moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Bell swats away the attempt to clinch by sato. sato on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
sato fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Bell clinches. sato is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Bell pulls him back up using the underhooks. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jyunichi sato. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bell lands a left hand that snaps the head of sato backwards. sato is looking to control Bell's arms but Bell gets an underhook and turns him. Now sato has his back to the cage. Bell tries to break the clinch but sato is controlling the position. sato has had enough of the clinch but Bell keeps him there for the moment. sato wants to break free but Bell has control.
Bell can't break the clinch.
sato fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Bell is looking to break free of the clinch but sato has double underhooks. sato is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. sato jumps guard but Bell stands there with sato around his waist. sato gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
sato is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bell lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Bell manages to pull guard.
sato stands and throws Bell's legs to the side, diving into side control. sato tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no sato has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! sato wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bell keeps working. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bell throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land. Bell is looking to regain half guard here but sato keeps moving and retains side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. sato has hold of Bell's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Bell tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - sato cranks the arm and Bell screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Bell, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Jyunichi sato!
