The judges for this bout are William Gold, Andrew Berry and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Catchmaer tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Cide manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Catchmaer misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Cide.
Cide takes the fight into the clinch.
Cide fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Catchmaer blocks an uppercut.
Cide has Catchmaer pushed against the cage.
Cide throws a punch but it's blocked by Catchmaer.

Cide throws a head punch that misses.

Catchmaer pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Cide throws a punch but it's blocked by Catchmaer.
Cide's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Catchmaer wants to break free but Cide has control.
Catchmaer wants to get back to striking at distance but Cide won't allow it.
Cide can't find room to land a body shot as Catchmaer controls the action.
Cide blocks an uppercut.
I was talking to Cide's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Catchmaer pulls Cide into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Catchmaer controlling the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cide looking to pass the guard.
Catchmaer manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Catchmaer tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Cide throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Cide lands a jab.
Catchmaer blocks a head kick by Cide.
Catchmaer tries to close the distance and clinch up but Cide swats him away and circles back towards the center.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Cide lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Catchmaer has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Catchmaer and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Cide just misses with a punch to the body.
Cide connects with a single shot there.
Cide keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Catchmaer.
Cide throws a wild body kick that Catchmaer sees coming a mile off.
Cide swings for the body but Catchmaer moves out of range.
Good work by Catchmaer as he checks the leg kick.
Cide misses with a low kick as Catchmaer jumps back.

Catchmaer swings widly with a right hand
and Cide counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Cide is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Cide uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Catchmaer.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cide avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Catchmaer walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Cide steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Catchmaer is out on his feet! Cide sets himself and nearly takes Catchmaer's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
