Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ljuti Hrcak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Irwin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alex Irwin will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ljuti Hrcak! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alex Irwin! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Irwin lands a jab. Irwin connects with the punch. Irwin listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Hrcak drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Irwin is working to avoid the ground and pound but Hrcak connects with a decent elbow. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hrcak has knee on belly and moves into mount. Hrcak has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Hrcak lands a nice shot to the head. Hrcak lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Irwin blocking the ground and pound. Hrcak throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Hrcak throwing strikes here but Irwin is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Irwin is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Hrcak sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Hrcak working away from the top, dropping strikes. Irwin is looking to improve his position but Hrcak isn't that keen on the idea. Hrcak goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Irwin turns into him and now he's in Hrcak's guard.
Hrcak looking for a sweep. Not yet Hrcak, not yet. Irwin not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Irwin trying to control the position from guard on top but Hrcak is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Irwin must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Hrcak throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Irwin is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Irwin has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Hrcak to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Irwin is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Hrcak pulls down on the head and he's put Irwin to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Ljuti Hrcak! Ljuti Hrcak tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
