Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Julius Caesar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darek Walczak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Caesar comes to the cage accompanied by Et tu, Brute?. Walczak is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by We will rock you. Julius Caesar could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Darek Walczak's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Julius Caesar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Darek Walczak! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Caesar looks to throw the jab but Walczak is out of range. Walczak throws a half hearted mid kick. A leg kick checked by Walczak. Walczak lands with a kick to the ribs.
Walczak bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Caesar closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Caesar working aggressively here.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Walczak takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Walczak trying to stall but Caesar improves his position.

Walczak looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Walczak connects with a knee to the head.
It looks like Julius Caesar has been cut. A nice left hand lands by Caesar.
Caesar tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Walczak's elbow. Walczak prevents a body shot from Caesar. A short left from Caesar. A short left from Caesar. I was talking to Caesar's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
That's one minute gone in the round. Caesar lands a shot to the body. Walczak stalling in the clinch but Caesar improves position. Caesar swings wildly with an uppercut but Walczak uses good head movement to avoid it. Caesar misses with a short punch on the inside. A short left from Walczak. Caesar misses with a punch on the inside.
Caesar effectively controlling the action here. Caesar blocks an elbow strike. Caesar avoids the elbow strike from Walczak, against the cage.
Still in the clinch, Walczak scores with a nice short uppercut. Caesar misses with a short punch on the inside. Caesar lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. A head punch blocked on the inside by Walczak. Caesar working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Caesar digs a right hand underneath Walczak's ribcage. Walczak let out a lung full of air as it connected. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Caesar content to slow the pace in the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Caesar works on Walczak's body with a couple of short punches. Walczak looks winded! Caesar throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Walczaks head. A nice right hand lands inside from Caesar. Caesar tries to throw a body punch but Walczak avoids it by throwing Caesar back against the cage. Walczak blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Caesar trying to control the position but instead, Walczak has worked for underhooks and has pushed Caesar into the cage. Caesar lands a left hand that snaps the head of Walczak backwards. A nice left hand lands by Caesar.
Walczak is rocked! Walczak blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Walczak is still on wobbly legs! Can Caesar finish him? Walczak misses with a knee strike.
Walczak seems to have recovered his senses. Caesar swings wildly with an uppercut but Walczak uses good head movement to avoid it. Caesar throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Walczaks head. Caesar lands a nice shot to the body. Walczak with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Walczak throws a knee to the head but misses.

Caesar floors Walczak with a big punch on the inside! Walczak is trying to recover but Caesar dives into side control. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Walczak can do anything to dispel that myth. Caesar happy to just control the position for now. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Walczak is trying to control Caesar's posture but Caesar avoids it. Caesar tries to move to mount but Walczak blocks the move with his legs. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Caesar works to advance to full mount. Walczak defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Caesar takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Caesar lands with some strikes. Caesar has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Walczak's face.
Caesar controlling from the full mount. Caesar lands with some strikes. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Caesar content just to control the position here. Walczak is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Julius Caesar dominated that round. The cut man is working on Julius Caesar's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
BOOM! Caesar lands a beautiful left hook that drops Walczak. Walczak tries to recover but Caesar is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Walczak lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
