Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Desmond Zertiis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pertti Silsa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silsa has chosen Candy by Robbie Williams as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

11 - 9 - 1, fighting out of London, Pertti Silsa!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Topper Green and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zertiis is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Zertiis throws a right hand that misses
and Silsa counters with a nice low kick that buckles Zertiis's knee momentarily.
Zertiis fails in his attempt to clinch.

and Silsa counters with a left hand that sends Zertiis to the canvas!

It looks like Desmond Zertiis has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Silsa trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Silsa slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Let's hope that Silsa has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Silsa works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Silsa is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Zertiis doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Silsa.
Zertiis is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Silsa's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Silsa's back!

Silsa wants to control his opponent's hands but Zertiis gets his hands free.
Zertiis seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Silsa swats away the attempt to clinch by Zertiis.

Zertiis catches Silsa with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Zertiis looks for a takedown but Silsa sprawls well.
Zertiis wants to land a leg kick but Silsa is out of range.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Silsa is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Zertiis is just riding it out for now. Silsa eventually gives up the hold.

Silsa wants to lay and pray for a moment but Zertiis keeps working.

Silsa looks up at the clock and then as Zertiis takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Silsa smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Whack. That's a big, big shot from Silsa! Zertiis is out cold! This one is all over!

A relieved looking Pertti Silsa thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
