Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Jayne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dean Corll (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jayne comes into the arena with Special Ed - I'm The Magnificent blaring out of the sound system. Corll has chosen South Texas Death Ride as his entrance music. Dean Corll has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Hirohito Nitta and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jayne scores with a jab.
Jayne works over Corll's head and body with a nice combination.
Jayne bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Corll cracks Jayne with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Jayne checks a leg kick.
Jayne wants to clinch
and Corll counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Corll scores with the left hand. Jayne knows he should have avoided that one.
Corll throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Corll clobbers Jayne with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Corll scores with a punch to the head.
Jayne is rocked!
Jayne thows a body shot but no joy.

Jayne jabs Corll to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Corll swats away the attempt to clinch by Jayne.
Jayne connects with a body shot that sends Corll's belly button to the back.

A telegraphed right hand from Jayne misses the target.
Jayne throws a jab when Corll was well out of range.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Corll.
Jayne cracks Corll with a good jab.
Corll looks for the body kick but Jayne saw that one coming.
Corll has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Corll moves out of range as Jayne strikes.

Jayne stuns Corll with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Corll takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Corll throws the kick towards the body but Jayne avoids it.
Jayne slips a jab and a cross from Corll.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Corll takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Jayne scores with a jab to the body.
It looks like Jayne has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.
Jayne has managed to clinch.
Corll breaks the clinch.
Corll tries to work over Jayne's front leg with a kick but Jayne checks it.
Corll misses with a straight left.

Corll is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Jayne.
Corll loads up on a big right hand but Jayne slips the punch.
Corll uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Jayne.
Dean Corll is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A head kick misses from Corll.
Jayne misses with a straight left.
Corll throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Jayne sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Corll swats away the attempt to clinch by Jayne.
Corll avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Jayne cracks Corll with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Jayne takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Corll circles away from the clinch attempt.
Corll throws a low kick, looking for Jayne's leg but Jayne calmly moves out of range.
A left lands for Jayne.
Jayne throws a looping overhand right but Corll ducks down to avoid it.
Jayne throws a hook but Corll blocks it.
Nice body punch from Jayne.
Jayne throws the left hand but Corll avoids the punch easily.
Jayne misses the shot to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Jayne fails with a takedown attempt.
Jayne tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Corll was well out of range. Poor timing from Jayne.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Patrick Jayne dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Jayne tries to score a power double leg takedown but Corll sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jayne somewhat.
Jayne connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Corll's hands.
Jayne thows a left - swing and a miss!
Corll looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Jayne misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Corll.
Jayne fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Corll manages to avoid it.
Jayne dives in for a single leg takedown but Corll sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Corll breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jayne tries to clinch up but Corll circles away and keeps his distance.

Jayne throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Corll cracks a nice hook into Jayne's ribs.
Corll misses with a low kick.
Good standup being displayed there by Jayne as he connects with a hook.
Corll scores with a punch to the head.
Corll throws a series of punches but Jayne avoids them all with ease.
Corll wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Jayne misses the shot to the body.
Corll throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Jayne takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Corll makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Corll gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Jayne is trying to control. Corll wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Corll pushes Jayne off looking to stand but Jayne dives back in and keeps control.
Jayne frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Jayne lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Corll in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Jayne lands with some strikes.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Oooooh, big shot lands for Jayne! Corll is hurt baaadly! Jayne is firing away with more strikes - Corll is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!

Patrick Jayne was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
