Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shock Zhou (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Igor Wietrzny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wietrzny has chosen Hunter-Fallen as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

14 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Igor Wietrzny! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Summer Carpenter and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zhou tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Wietrzny looks to score with a jab to the body but Zhou is just out of range. We've been informed that Wietrzny has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Wietrzny looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Wietrzny swats away the attempt to clinch by Zhou. The crowd cheers as Zhou lands an impressive looking overhand right. Zhou cracks the inside of Wietrzny's front leg. Zhou throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Wietrzny counters with a two punch combo. Zhou tries to clinch up. Zhou definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zhou misses with a double jab
and Wietrzny connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Wietrzny dodges the punch combination from Zhou.
Zhou throws a nice looking combination but Wietrzny bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Zhou tries to clinch up. Wietrzny throws a shot to the body.
Zhou tries to bum rush Wietrzny with a series of wild strikes but Wietrzny uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Wietrzny scores with a hook. Shock Zhou seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wietrzny closes the distance and clinches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wietrzny lands a knee to the body.
Zhou breaks from the clinch.
Zhou throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Wietrzny. Wietrzny displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Wietrzny gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Zhou blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Zhou escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Wietrzny. Wietrzny tries to clinch there but Zhou circles away.
Zhou scores with a jab to the jaw. Wietrzny ducks under a wild hook from Zhou. Wietrzny scoring well with a low kick there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wietrzny's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Wietrzny duly obliges. Zhou tries to clinch up. Wietrzny moves away from the strike by Zhou. Zhou throws a lazy uppercut
letting Wietrzny counter with a right hand.
Zhou is rocked! Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Wietrzny moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Zhou! Wietrzny continues to tee off on Zhou, landing with a left and a right! Wietrzny connects with a right hand that leaves Zhou sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Wietrzny!
