Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ivan Morozov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Fichten Klatscher!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Donald Grub and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Klatscher throws a leg kick but Morozov sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Klatscher just misses with a punch to the body.
Klatscher does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Morozov fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Klatscher lands a head kick that stumbles Morozov and the fighters go to the mat.
Morozov is rocked!
It looks like Ivan Morozov has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Klatscher content to stall in guard here.
Oh Morozov is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Morozov is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Morozov throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Klatscher escapes and throws Morozov's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Morozov is looking for a sweep.
Klatscher has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Morozov tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Morozov seems to have got his legs back now.
Morozov has a takedown stuffed.
Klatscher lands with a thumping leg kick.
Morozov is breathing heavily.
Klatscher misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Klatscher bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Morozov's head.
Klatscher misses with a few strikes there.
Klatscher throws a sloppy head kick and Morozov moves out of range easily.
Klatscher misses the jab.
Look low, kick high! Klatscher uses the oldest trick in the book to send Morozov tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Klatscher is absolutely delighted - when Morozov wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Fichten Klatscher!
