Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sam Urai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lane Brooks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Urai's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Sever the Wicked. Sam Urai has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Sam Urai! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Lane Brooks! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Sam Margolis and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brooks is looking to clinch. Brooks tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Brooks misses with a head kick.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Brooks, right into the meat.
Urai seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. A head kick misses from Brooks. Brooks lands with a slapping head kick.
It looks like Sam Urai has been cut. Brooks wants to clinch but Urai slips to the side and Urai counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Urai fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Brooks to the ground. Urai is now in Brooks's guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Urai stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Brooks swivels though and keeps the full guard. Urai trying to control but Brooks is working from the bottom. Urai looking to pass the guard. Urai controls from within his opponent's guard. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Brooks holds on and takes a little breather.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sam Urai has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Brooks throws a leg kick that is checked and Urai counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Brooks thinking. Brooks cracks the inside of Urai's front leg. Urai lands a lovely overhand right. Lane Brooks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Brooks throws a predictable looking body shot
and Urai counters with a lovely straight right hand! Brooks tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Urai manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. A low kick from Brooks is predictable there and Urai counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Brooks is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Brooks tries to land a front kick but Urai steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Brooks is still on wobbly legs! Can Urai finish him? A low kick from Brooks misses and Urai counters with a big right hand! Oh Brooks is in trouble here! Urai follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sam Urai! During a confident post fight interview, Sam Urai thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
