Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gregor Clegane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jojiro Yamanaka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Gregor Clegane!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jojiro Yamanaka!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Atkins and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Clegane gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Clegane tries for a takedown. No joy.
Yamanaka lands a nice uppercut.
Yamanaka throws a head punch that misses.
Clegane goes for a takedown in the clinch but Yamanaka prevents it.
Clegane has Yamanaka pressed against the cage, preventing Yamanaka from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Clegane manages to break the clinch.
Clegane misses the jab.
Clegane goes for a double leg but Yamanaka avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Yamanaka continues to drive forward.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gregor Clegane. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Clegane is working for takedown but Yamanaka is calmly controlling the position for now.

Yamanaka wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Clegane has a couple of punches blocked by Yamanaka.
Yamanaka's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
We've been hearing reports that Clegane has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Yamanaka stalks Clegane and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Clegane's face. Clegane staggers backwards, shaken.
Clegane is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Yamanaka.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Yamanaka keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Yamanaka takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Yamanaka bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Jojiro Yamanaka is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Yamanaka misses with a wild combination.
Nice defenses there by Yamanaka.
Yamanaka avoids a punch combination nicely.
Yamanaka connects with a body shot.
Clegane tries to close the distance and clinch but Yamanaka swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Gregor Clegane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Yamanaka checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Clegane misses with a straight left.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Clegane.
Clegane fails to land with a series of punches.
Clegane misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Clegane misses with a two punch combination.
Clegane darts in looking for a takedown but Yamanaka gets double underhooks and turns Clegane into the cage.

Clegane misses with a hook from the clinch.
Yamanaka wants to break the clinch but can't.

Clegane gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Clegane lands with a left to the head.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Yamanaka is trying to break the clinch but Clegane has him pressed against the cage.
Clegane throws a head punch that misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Jojiro Yamanaka will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Yamanaka lands with a shot to the body.
Clegane closes the distance and clinches up with Yamanaka, looking for a takedown. Clegane pushes Yamanaka against the cage but Yamanaka circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Yamanaka moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Yamanaka misses with the combination.

Clegane shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Yamanaka manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Clegane chips away with some ground and pound.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Clegane accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Clegane throws an elbow that misses. Yamanaka uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Clegane's guard. Nice move by Yamanaka!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Clegane is controlling Yamanaka's posture.
Yamanaka wants to stand but Clegane is controlling his posture from full guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jojiro Yamanaka.
Yamanaka scores with a one two! Clegane had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Clegane throws a shot from downtown. Yamanaka moves away and avoids it.
Clegane doesn't manage to clinch there - Yamanaka circles away.
Yamanaka scores with a shot to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Yamanaka's corner calls for a 1-2. Yamanaka obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Clegane misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Yamanaka has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Yamanaka has had enough of the clinch but Clegane keeps him there for the moment.

Yamanaka is trying to force a seperation but Clegane has the dominant position.
Yamanaka is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Clegane throws a punch but it's blocked by Yamanaka.

Clegane jumps into guard, dragging Yamanaka to the mat.
Yamanaka throws a big elbow that misses.
Yamanaka is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Clegane is trying to keep Yamanaka in close.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Clegane just misses with a punch to the body.
No luck for Clegane with that takedown attempt.
Clegane throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Clegane looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gregor Clegane. That's going to take a lot out of him.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Clegane throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Yamanaka counters with a series of strikes. Clegane will be more careful next time no doubt.
Clegane shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Yamanaka tries to keep at a distance but Clegane has taken the fight into the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jojiro Yamanaka showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Clegane shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Yamanaka moves into range and connects with a jab.

Clegane moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Oh Clegane is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Yamanaka goes for a small jab and connects. Now Yamanaka goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Clegane stumbles back but Yamanaka runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Clegane to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Clegane will ever be the same after a knockout like that.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jojiro Yamanaka!
