Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hernan Del Fuego (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lexington Snape (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Del Fuego comes to the cage accompanied by La gota fria. Snape is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by DJ Tiësto - Carmina Burana: Remixed. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Del Fuego closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Del Fuego lands in his opponent's guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Del Fuego wants to control from the top but Snape keeps moving.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Del Fuego accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

We're going to have a standup here because Hernan Del Fuego wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Snape wants to clinch up but Del Fuego keeps it at a distance.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Snape lands an elbow just above Del Fuego 's eye.
Snape creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Del Fuego's defenses.
Snape tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Snape using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Snape lands a good knee to the midsection. Del Fuego won't want to take too many of those.
Snape lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
It looks like Hernan Del Fuego has been cut.

Snape jerks Del Fuego's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Del Fuego drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Snape goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Snape because Del Fuego was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knee). Lexington Snape!
Lexington Snape opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
